[Hanbei would hate to say he's been desensitized, and he isn't. Not... yet, anyway. He's clearly a lot more resigned concerning the CDC.

Now, is Ivan striking up idle chatter out of boredom? Hanbei isn't used to reading in-between the lines when it comes to texting, but something about the timing tells him it isn't just that.]

The entirety of yesterday was dark out, I couldn't see a thing! We had to hide in the jeep, because we couldn't risk pelkins sliding down to ambush us.

I had Baku, Count D and Esmé. Baku's a dreameater, and she says there's a dream realm!

D seems to know a lot about animals, aliens or otherwise. He took care of my Bahari hatchlings when Gliese gave them out to us. Esmé's a Westerner and doesn't seem used to combat, though.

I just can't wait to get back to the Rover! I've never had a bed so soft before, and I didn't want to give it up.
