[ She may hold back on the questions when it comes to other people more reticent about talking about themselves. But Hanbei doesn't seem to fall into that category. It's like she's drawn the best straw; someone she can earn more cookie points from by asking them about themselves! ]

First, there was someone named Orochi. He brought people from different worlds and times together to test his strength against them. [Kind of like how the CDC drags people in, right? Across time and space. And shit.] After we defeated him, the Hydra sprung up from nowhere and took us by surprise. It's probably got something to do with Orochi, but we've had too much trouble repelling it to actually research.

We have a chance now, though! [To live. Not just research.] But the CDC brought me back here before we could try again.
